My grandfather was the strongest, proudest, nicest man I ever knew. He worked on the railroad, he built houses, he fought fires and saved lives for over 25 years. As soon as I saw him in his uniform as a kid I dreamt of being just like him. He worked his whole life to give everyone else what they needed and wanted. A real Genuine man. He told us stories, we sat on his lap and he taught me how to give a bear hug. Never once did I hear him raise his voice and not once did I hear him be judgemental. He loved my grandmother and made her happy. He gave me values, he gave me love and he gave me life. Walter Skinkle like to burn his toast and smother it with peanut butter...for that I will remember him always. Rest In Peace Grandpa

Love,
Stephanie
